Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September 2005 The Stirling Castle Extravaganza has been one of the most successful events in our yearly programme for over ten years. On the 700th anniversary of his death, our theme this year will be William Wallace – one of Scotland’s greatest heroes.

The event will cover everything from combat displays, an authentic medieval camp and market scene, drama, and music.

Many people’s knowledge of William Wallace comes from seeing ‘Braveheart’.
